European Union chief diplomat Javier Solana says Iran has given no clear response to an incentives package in exchange for stopping its nuclear enrichment activities.
Solana was speaking after talks with Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili in Geneva, Switzerland. He said EU and Iranian negotiators had agreed to another meeting in two weeks' time. Following the talks, the United States said Iran had to choose between cooperation and confrontation. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack gave Tehran two weeks to give a clear answer.
