A strike by a German pilots' union continues to disrupt flight operations of two Lufthansa domestic subsidiaries for a second day. On Tuesday, Lufthansa cancelled hundreds of flights by its Eurowings and CityLine units, which operate short-haul connections within Germany and across Europe.
The pilots union, Cockpit, called the strike to back up demands for a pay hike so salaries at the subsidiaries will match those at the parent company Lufthansa.
