Most Czechs have no access to retraining at work - survey ... of respondents, 44 percent, only one-fifth of them believe that they function well. Even in the case of political parties STEM registered the decreased number of positive assessments compared to previous polls - by eight percentage points in the case of political parties and by seven percentage points in the case of political representatives. While in 2006, 50 percent of Czechs believed that political parties guarantee democratic policy, it is 44 percent at present. Two years ago 39 percent of respondents believed that the country's leading representatives observe democratic principles in making decisions while it is a mere 32 percent at present. Respondents were also sceptical as regards the public's ability to sufficiently implement democracy in everyday life.
Only 30 percent of respondents believe this though it is only slightly fewer than in the previous polls.
