Global Media Forum continues ... sensation Michael Phelps has equalled Mark Spitz's record of seven Olympic gold medals in one games after winning the 100-meter butterfly.
Phelps won by just a fraction of second in his first race of the Beijing Games in which he didn't set a world record. That honour went to Britain's Rebecca Adlington, who won the Olympic Games women's 800m freestyle gold medal in a new world record time. It was here second gold medal of the games. Meanwhile the German Bundesliga season has kicked off with a match between defending champions Bayern Munich and Hamburg. The game, which was Jьrgen Klinsmann's first league match as Bayern's coach, ended in a 2-2 draw.
