The rhetoric over the crisis in Georgia is rising on both sides of the Atlantic.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said in an interview aired on CNN that he suspected the United States provoked the conflict between Russia and Georgia earlier this month for domestic political reasons. Washington immediately dismissed the charges with a White House spokeswoman saying the comments did not sound "rational".
