The Dalai Lama's admission to hospital came a day after the Tibetan spiritual leader's office said he was suffering from exhaustion and would travel to Mumbai for a medical check-up. A spokesman said there was nothing major to feel concerned about. The Dalai Lama has been living in the Indian city of Dharamsala since fleeing Tibet after a failed uprising against Chinese rule in 1959.
