More than a dozen African heads of state have gathered in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, for the funeral of President Levy Mwanawasa.
Mwanawasa first took office in 2001 and was re-elected in 2006. The late president was dubbed "Mr Integrity" for his firm stance on corruption. He died in France last month after suffering a stroke. He was 59.
