Pojar said according to Reuters.On the U.S. side, there is a willingness to help Czechs with the problems as it is also in the U.S. interest if its allies in Europe have the required means of air transport.Pojar stressed the Czech Republic had never asked for any reward for the signing of the July agreement under which a radar base for the U.S. anti-missile system would be established in the Czech Republic.The United States plans to build a radar base in the Czech Republic and a base for ten interceptor missiles in Poland as part of the anti-missile shield that are to protect the United States and a large part of the European continent against missiles that states like Iran might launch.The Czech left-wing opposition as well as most of the Czech public still oppose the radar project.Russia is also seriously against the plan.
