Musharraf in Olympic visit turn-around ... victor, Asif Ali Zardari could become one of the most powerful civilian leaders in Pakistan's 61-year history. Zardari, the widower of slain opposition leader Benazir Bhutto, will replace Pervez Musharraf, who resigned last month. As the head of Pakistan's main ruling coalition party, he was instrumental in forcing longtime army chief and US ally Pervez Musharraf to quit, or face impeachment. Zardari has vowed to support the war on terror and also reduce the powers of the president.
