Bush arrives in Britain on "farewell" tour ... to help combat global warming.
Rajendra Pachauri who chairs the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change told the British daily The Observer that people should start by giving up meat one day per week. The Indian economist and vegetarian said that diet change was important in reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with rearing livestock and other animals. Pachauri is expected to elaborate on his ideas at a lecture on Monday in London.
