A spokesman for the 73-year-old, who recently spent several days in a Mumbai hospital, said that the Dalai Lama has been ordered by his doctors to cut back on his travels and to rest. He had been due to travel to Germany and Switzerland on October 10 for two weeks to give Buddhist teachings and lectures.
