An airliner operated by Aeroflot has crashed near Russia's city of Perm in the Ural mountains, killing all 88 people on board. Aeroflot says 21 of them were foreign nationals, including nine from Azerbaijan and five from Ukraine.

Spain defeats Italy in penaly shoot-out ... It was on a flight from Moscow. Russian media say firefighters extinguished smouldering wreckage on Perm's outskirts. One of the plane's two black boxes has been found and handing over to experts for decoding. Aeroflot says it has set up crises centres for victims' relatives at Perm and at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.
