1904: Tell you what, I won't be using that source again. Van der Sar is in the United goal and Cristiano Ronaldo is in fact on the bench, though Gary Neville, Jonny Evans and Nani start.
1903: "I have lost the will to live! My girlfriend has taken over the TV and I want to watch my beloved Gunners."
Musa, via text
You boys and your girls, eh? Look, there's no use moaning to me, I can't get Arsenal on your telly. Just tell your missus you'll take her out for a cracking meal on Friday, as long as you can watch Arsenal tonight. All done.
1900: Stevo's Champions League Predos
GROUP E:
Celtic 2-0 Aalborg
Man Utd 2-2 Villarreal
GROUP F:
Lyon 2-1 Fiorentina
Steaua Bucharest 1-2 Bayern Munich
GROUP G:
Dinamo Kiev 0-2 Arsenal
Porto 2-1 Fenerbahce
GROUP H:

Real Madrid 4-2 BATE Borisov

1858: "Kiev's just like Zagreb to Walcott, time for another amazing performance from TW14."

1855: Perhaps predictably, I'm going to have a pop at Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson now. For what he said about Keith Hackett and the rescinding of John Terry's red card, the FA should throw the book at him. Give him a 10-match touchline ban and he might stop thinking he's allowed to say what he likes when he likes about whoever he likes.

1851: TEAM NEWS Celtic v Aalborg
Celtic
make two changes from the team that beat Motherwell 4-2, with Andreas Hinkel in for Mark Wilson and Shunsuke Nakamura replacing Marc Crosas in midfield. Georgios Samaras keeps his place up front.
1849: "See 1836: Agreed Van der Sar had a shocker against Liverpool, but surely putting Cristiano in goal is a bit extreme?!"
Tim, London, via text
Ooh you can be a picky lot sometimes, can't you? Just 11 minutes and counting until Stevo's Predos, now...
1847: "Stevo, could you keep us posted on Real Madrid v BATE Borisov? Just like you said, this competition is beautiful - anything can happen, just like Roma v Cluj yesterday..."

1844: A year ago to this day, the 'Special One' Jose Mourinho presided over Chelsea's disappointing 1-1 draw in the Champions League at home against Rosenborg. It proved to be the final straw and Mourinho was soon on his way out of Stamford Bridge. Any coaches under pressure tonight, do we think?
Chelsea 1-1 Rosenborg
1841: As always, my night and these updates depend on you. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, let the Champions League in all its glory into your life. Whether you're at Celtic Park, Old Trafford or in the pub, get those texts in on 81111, or join the debate on 606. I'm here all night (until 2200 BST).

1836: Getting a whisper of some big team news afoot at Old Trafford - rumour has it that Manchester United have dropped goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and Cristiano Ronaldo will start against Villarreal. Blimey.
1834: Sorry, but I had to share that with you. It was just so brilliantly Brazilian, so sizzlingly Samba. Is it wrong of me to expect more of the same tonight? Have you seen the eight fixtures? It's like watching football in heaven. Or something like that.
1830: Everything we love about the Champions League, encapsulated in one beautiful, glorious moment. As soon as the ball left the right foot of Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian midfielder 'Sir Les' Fernandinho from 40 yards out in Basel last night, there was only going to be one outcome. As the ball rocketed towards goal it seemed to pick up pace, eventually searing into the corner of the net. That, my friends, is why this competition is like no other.
