What questions would you like to ask about the Millennium Development Goals?
The United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set out a vision for a more just world.
The eight MDGs range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education - all by the target date of 2015.
Based on current trends, many of the goals will not be reached on time.
Halfway to the deadline a special BBC World Debate asks whether these goals can be achieved by the 2015 deadline. The debate will feature heads of state, UN officials, leaders from the private sector and non-governmental organisations.
