A US military tribunal in Germany has sentenced an American soldier for seven months for killing four Iraqi prisoners.
The prisoners were bound and blindfolded after later dumped in Baghdad canal. Twenty-three-year-old Spc. Belmor Ramos had faced a possible sentence of life in prison for conspiracy to commit murder but worked out a plea agreement. He has agreed to testify against other soldiers allegedly involved in the killing of the Iraqis. Three other soldiers were charged on Tuesday with murder.
