Sudan's Foreign Ministry says it has pinpointed the location of the 19 hostages, who were seized in the Egyptian desert last Friday.
A ministry spokesman said they were being held in a border region between Sudan, Libya and Egypt. He added that there were no plans for any rescue operation that could harm the hostages. The tourist group, which includes five Germans, five Italians, a Romanian and their local guides, was seized by unidentified gunmen close to the border with Sudan.
