Japan' new prime minister, Taro Aso, has appointed a fresh cabinet. The 68-year-old head of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party has picked a strongly conservative team to pull the country out of its economic woes and halt a slide in the government's popularity.
Aso has become the country's fourth prime minister in two years, after Yasuo Fukuda and his cabinet resigned en masse.
