The foreign ministers from six major powers have agreed on the wording of a new resolution on Iran's nuclear programme to present to the United Nations Security Council.
Diplomatic sources said agreement followed a meeting of the five permanent Security Council members plus Germany on the fringes of the UN General Assembly in New York. They said it contained no provisions for new sanctions on Iran but simply reaffirmed previous sanctions.
