Tsvangirai has signed a power-sharing agreement with President Robert Mugabe, however their rival factions have been unable to agree on designating cabinet positions in a unity government. Zimbabwe's central bank has given nearly 600 shops permission to sell goods in foreign currency, in a bid to cope with the Zimbawean dollar's record rate of inflation.
